Job Overview

The role of a Court Registry Officer at the Ministry of Justice - New Zealand involves working in a dynamic team responsible for the successful operation of the court. As a key member, you will liaise with various stakeholders, including defendants, witnesses, family members, lawyers, and police officers.

Main Responsibilities
  • Court Taking: You will assist in the smooth operation of the court, introducing judges, managing jurors, and handling general administration tasks.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service through face-to-face, phone, or email interactions, ensuring that customers receive accurate information about court-related matters.
  • Case Management: Ensure that files are accurate and up-to-date by performing data entry tasks and maintaining high-quality case management skills.
