Role Overview:
The role of Senior Sales Development Specialist at Mico is a vital position within our organization, requiring the successful candidate to provide exceptional customer service and sales support to our largest commercial customers.
This role involves working closely with the Branch Manager to ensure that our key customers' needs are met, while also contributing to the team's efforts on the trade counter, cycle counting, and other duties as required.
A key aspect of this role is understanding the needs of our key customers and providing professional solutions to meet those needs. This includes answering calls and emails, quoting orders, and communicating delivery times and preparing orders ready for delivery.
We are seeking an individual who is customer-focused, organized, and able to build rapport and form strong relationships with our customers. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales, quoting, and price negotiating, and will be able to work proactively, independently, and within a team.
In addition to excellent communication skills, we are looking for someone who is resilient, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. A clean, current Full NZ Driver's Licence is essential for this role.
