The Auckland City District Child Protection Teams (CPT) are looking for an engaged, highly motivated, talented and innovative staff member to work in our respective teams. Previous exposure to sensitive information would be an advantage.Key Accountabilities:Building and maintaining relationships with a range of internal workgroups/teams.Working in a high performing team environment based on the core values of the New Zealand Police.Understanding how your role and actions contribute to the vision and goals of our organisation.Handling sensitive files on a day-to-day basis.He aha taau e kawe mai | What you'll bringWhilst we are looking for skills, knowledge, and experience relevant to the role, we also place high importance on your state of mind, the alignment of your values with ours, your ability to contribute to and build high performing teams, and the way that you lead yourself or others.Knowledge and experience in the review and preparation of prosecution cases from initial arrest/summons to final presentation to Police or Crown prosecution services.Able to perform in an environment that requires team members to work largely autonomously while meeting strict deadlines.Competent in multiple computer systems and the use of a variety of software and associated applications.Personal commitment to delivering a high standard of work.Clear, committed, and strong-willed mindset.This role is set at Individual Contributor level, this means your key purpose is "to deliver or enable others to deliver Our Business".To be eligible for this role, you must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET SPECIAL national security clearance.The minimum criteria for this level of national security clearance is:NZ Citizen who has resided continuously in NZ for the last 15 years, orA Permanent Resident who has resided continuously in NZ for the last 15 years, orA citizen of or has resided continuously in one or more of the following countries for the last 15 years: Australia, Canada, United Kingdom, or United States of America, and has a background that can be verified by the NZSIS.New Zealand Police is the lead agency responsible for preventing crime and enhancing community safety.
