ECPAT Child Alert is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to preventing the sexual exploitation of children. As a volunteer Board Member, you will play a crucial role in shaping the organization's financial governance and strategic direction.

About the Role

The Treasurer will be responsible for ensuring the financial integrity and transparency of ECPAT NZ, working closely with the Director and Finances Officer to maintain accurate financial records and reports. This is an estimated 4 hours per month commitment, including attending monthly Board meetings and occasional events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing and implementing effective financial management practices
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and laws
  • Providing financial guidance and support to the ECPAT NZ team
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A strong understanding of good financial management and reporting practices
  • Experience in a similar governance or financial leadership role
  • An ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

The estimated salary for this role is $30-40 per hour, based on industry standards and the level of responsibility involved.
