Legal Services is part of CCS - Business and is one of the largest government in-house legal teams.Mo te tunga- About the rolesWe have two permanent opportunities for Business Support Officers (L2) to provide high quality and effective administrative support across Legal Services. This role will see you work closely with your peers and team members to deliver a consistent level of service that is customer focused and adds value. You will also be a valued part of the Legal Services team supporting the services we deliver for our customers.You will support our litigation team but with a strong focus on our debt work (including liquidations and bankruptcies).You will:produce, co-ordinate and distribute information and documents in a tailored format to support delivery of better business outcomesassist Legal Services with bankruptcy and liquidation processesbuild highly effective relationships with the national team and other key stakeholdersuse Legal Services Evidence Management Tool, to prepare documents for court hearingswork across internal Inland Revenue systemsundertake general administrative activities such as closing litigation files, archiving and updating records.We are looking for someone who:has a proactive and motivated outlook with an interest in learning new systems and ways of workinghas a keenness to look for and realise opportunities to add value to the team and your leadershas the ability to organise and plan, to multi-task and to juggle competing prioritieshas excellent communication skills, organisational and time management skillshas a keen understanding of the need for confidentiality and a high level of integrity and professionalismhas excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills with the ability to liaise with other business support teams to deliver priorities and outcomeshas a willingness and the confidence to progress work without close supervisionhas a desire to be part of an in-house legal practice committed to delivering for your customershas experience in an administrative or business support role, alongside a sound understanding of MS Office.This is your opportunity to be engaged in interesting and challenging work across Legal Services and Inland Revenue.
