Mo te turanga - About the roleAs a Relationship Manager in our Morrinsville Agri team, you'll join our wider Waikato team to play a key role supporting our farmers to start, buy and sustainably grow their business.
This role is responsible for actively managing and growing a portfolio of customers and expanding ANZ's brand and network within our community.

- What will your day look likeAs an Agri Relationship Manager, you will have the opportunity to:
Build sustainable long-term client relationships and grow critical customer portfolios.Provide customers with effective, value-added solutions whilst managing potential risks and applying financial analysis to identify key insights.Collaborate with various teams and across the wider bank to support your customers' growth and ongoing success.Continuously look to build new relationships aligned to business strategy and ensure existing customer needs are understood and met.Develop a network of contacts and assist in achieving overall business strategies of sourcing new business, maximizing existing business, and increasing effectiveness.Ou Pukenga?
- What will you bring?To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Proven experience in relationship management, business development, portfolio, and/or account management.Deep understanding and knowledge of the Agri sector, including the ability to build market presence and win in the market.Previous experience in banking/financial/accounting, or relevant experience would be beneficial, but not essential.Ability to work independently and with a team, with proven analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.Proven networking skills to enhance customer relationships, maximize, and grow portfolios.Effective communication and relationship-building skills.You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
