About the Role: The role of a Maintenance Planner involves a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring the smooth operation and efficiency of production equipment through effective planning, monitoring, and execution of maintenance activities.
Here's a breakdown of the key responsibilities:
Core Responsibilities:Work Order Management: Manage planned, emerging, and requested work orders across the plant.Assign tasks to maintenance team members and track their progress to ensure timely completion.Scheduling and Planning: Assist the Maintenance Manager in scheduling preventative maintenance tasks to minimize equipment downtime.Plan and coordinate maintenance shutdowns, working closely with the production planning team.Develop and update preventative maintenance schedules to optimize performance and reduce unplanned downtime.Resource Management: Assist the Maintenance Manager in overseeing the resources required for maintenance tasks, ensuring the right tools, labor, and materials are available.Manage the allocation of work to team members, maximizing their efficiency and reducing downtime.Reporting and Performance Monitoring: Generate regular reports on work orders, completed tasks, and maintenance activities.Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for the maintenance team, identifying areas for improvement.Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, company rules, and standard operating procedures.Promote a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols during maintenance activities.Essential Skills and Attributes: Communication: Ability to work effectively with internal teams, external contractors, and other departments.Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills to identify areas for improvement and resolve maintenance challenges.Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple schedules efficiently.Attention to Detail: Ensuring all work is completed to the required standards and on time.If you think you meet the above criteria, we want to hear from you
We have one position available working 40 hours per week, and salary ranges from $75,000 to $95,000 per annum depending on the successful candidate's knowledge, skills, and experience, along with Medical Insurance to eligible employees.
