The addition of this luxurious hotel brings the total number of hotel rooms across our SkyCity Auckland precinct to nearly 1000 (includes The Grand by SkyCity and SkyCity Hotel). The hotel is directly connected to the NZ International Convention Centre and the SkyCity precinct via air bridges over Hobson St.
An exciting opportunity has come up within our exceptional concierge team for an outstanding and experienced Commissionaire to join us.
As a Commissionaire, you will ultimately be the face of the hotel and be responsible for the initial 'welcome' of our guests and look after them as they arrive and depart. You will also be sharing your extensive knowledge of Auckland City to ensure guests are aware of what this great city has to offer. Assisting guests with their luggage and in and out of transport is also required.
Your communication skills will be excellent and your genuine passion for exceeding customers' expectations will be vital, therefore proven customer service experience is essential. You will also be required to hold a full NZ drivers licence. This is a full time role working across various shifts so flexibility is key.
Responsibilities: Provide a warm welcome to guests upon arrival and departure.Assist guests with luggage and transportation needs.Share knowledge of Auckland City to enhance guest experience.Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained.Valet parking cars in NZ's first underground Porte Cochere.Qualifications: Proven customer service experience.Excellent communication skills.Full NZ driver's license.Knowledge of Auckland City and Aotearoa is a bonus.Besides working with great people, you will enjoy a variety of company benefits that a large corporate can provide:
