Ready to spread the word about our exceptional guest experiences? We’re searching for a Sales & Marketing Manager with the strategic nous to help us beat our room night sales goals. Night after night.

Reporting to the General Manager, this role will see you be responsible for the development and execution of both the Sales and the Marketing activity for the Hotel. Specifically, you will thrive on developing and implementing strategic sales and marketing plans to ensure revenue and room night goals are achieved, tactical plans are created and implemented, and results are monitored and achieved. This will include working closely with New Zealand Tourism to drive key feeder markets into the hotel, ensuring our hotel has a strong position in market as well as developing independent working relationships with inbound airlines, cruise companies, destination tour organizers, among many others, to position the hotel as a destination of choice.

You will have strong marketing experience - excited by the opportunity to develop and execute on your own strategic marketing plan around our hotel story. You will be an outside the box thinker, using both your creativity as well as natural efficiency in your execution, leveraging our centralized resources to support the strength of your activity.

To be successful in this role you’ll have demonstrated excellence in simultaneously driving both Sales and Marketing fields at a similar level as well as outstanding internal stakeholder and owner management, understanding of brand delivery and the ability to impact and influence the overall business agenda and execution. You will demonstrate the ability to be a key influencing voice with tourism and corporate bodies and balance that with your great knowledge and experience, be forward thinking and inspirational, with a warm and approachable manner.

Ideally, you will have bachelor's degree / higher education qualification/equivalent in marketing or related discipline, with a minimum of four or more years of experience in a hospitality or hotel sales and marketing setting with recent experience independently driving the Sales and Marketing function. Strong knowledge of local businesses and business trends required, and the ability to speak French and English fluently is essential.
