The Opportunity We are looking for a Senior IT Business Analyst to join our Information Technology team on a permanent, full time (37.5 hours per week) basis, in our busy Dunedin office.
The purpose of this position is to lead business analysis and delivery of projects, review business processes and identify opportunities to improve business efficiency.
As a Senior IT Business Analyst, you will be responsible for:
Providing business analysis to enable change by defining needs and recommending solutions that deliver value to stakeholdersCoaching, guiding and mentoring to Business Analysts and team members to support their success in their work and growth in their skills and careerLeading and supporting the improvement of business systems and processes, recommending and facilitating improvements and solutionsSupporting the work of dependent projects and collaborating with other projects as and when requiredWorking collaboratively with stakeholders to complete assigned changes, projects, enhancements, and improvementsIf you are interested in working collaboratively and supporting key projects, this is the role for you
About You Our ideal candidate will have:
A tertiary qualification in business, information technology, or commerceIIBA Core Business Analysis CertificationsCertification or experience in industry frameworks (e.g.
ITIL, Prince2, Agile, Waterfall)At least ten years' experience in an IT Business Analyst capacity, with at least five years at a senior levelProven experience working across a range of different types of projects and skill competenciesExcellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to establish strong working partnershipsWhat we offer We recognise and celebrate diversity within Team ORC and are committed to providing a work environment that supports inclusion and equal opportunities.
