Job Description

Otago Regional Council is looking for a Senior IT Business Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading business analysis and delivering projects that bring value to our stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide business analysis to enable change
  • Coach and mentor team members
  • Lead the improvement of business systems and processes
  • Support the work of dependent projects and collaborate with other projects
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders

About You

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual who has:

  • A tertiary qualification in business, information technology, or commerce
  • IIBA Core Business Analysis Certifications
  • Certification or experience in industry frameworks (e.g., ITIL, Prince2, Agile, Waterfall)
  • At least ten years' experience in an IT Business Analyst capacity, with at least five years at a senior level
  • Proven experience working across a range of different types of projects and skill competencies
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to establish strong working partnerships
