Business Development Manager - Engineering About the role: This position will be reporting straight in to the Director. Contribute to the overall company sales and profit through the specification of building materials on projects throughout New Zealand Convert as many of these specifications to actual sales as possible by working with distributors, builders, contractors, and engineers Identify projects specified in competitor products, and help convert these specifications to your brands Regular reporting of your specification activities to the heads of the business Develop strong multi-level relationships with targeted customers and segment decision-makers Analyse trends and future market needs Plan and coordinate sales territory, call cycles, and project tracking About you: You're experienced in specification sales and have an existing network of structural engineers You must have a proven track record of securing specifications for large commercial projects You put a high value on good team culture and are a team player You have the confidence and knowledge to be the expert within the business on the structural fixings & reinforcement Working knowledge of Masonry Fixings is a must Ability to travel internationally to Australia on a frequent basis A qualification in structural / civil engineering would be an advantage but absolutely not essential Benefits: On offer is a superb package including a strong base salary and full-use company vehicle.
