We are seeking a Head of Product who will be responsible for the overall product vision, strategy, and execution at Smartrak. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and customer success, to ensure that our products deliver maximum value to our customers and align with the company’s strategic goals.

What you’ll be doing

As the Head of Product, your product vision will align with the company's goals and strategy, driving both innovation and growth in a highly competitive market. You will stay at the forefront of market trends, competitor analysis, and customer feedback to inform product development and maintain a competitive edge. Your role will involve creating and managing a robust product roadmap that prioritises features, enhancements, and new product developments based on business strategy and customer needs. Additionally, you will be out in the market collaborating with prospects, customers, and partners to deeply understand their challenges, ensuring that our solutions solve real problems with the best user experience. Utilising data analytics and performance metrics, you will guide product development and make informed decisions that optimise user experience, engagement, and retention. Partnering with marketing and sales teams, you will develop effective go-to-market strategies, product launches, product positioning, pricing, and messaging. Finally, you will communicate product plans, progress, strategy, milestones, and insights to executive leadership, customers, and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.

What do we look for?
  • Experience: 8+ years of product management experience, including leadership roles in SaaS companies, with a proven track record of scaling products.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: Strong ability to understand customer pain points and translate these into innovative product solutions that drive value.
  • Communication: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders across various levels of the organisation.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of software development processes, ideally in a SaaS environment. Ability to effectively collaborate with engineering teams.
  • Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to drive strategic product decisions.
  • Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with agile development practices and the ability to foster an iterative product development environment.
