**Help us build New Zealand Join the team at PlaceMakers - New Zealand's leading and largest supplier of building materials**
We currently have two opportunities across our West Auckland Branches and have the choice to work at either New Lynn or Westgate.
**The Role**:
Our New Lynn and Westgate Branches are a part of our West Auckland Hub and we now have two full-time opportunities for Administration Superstars to provide support across the hub with all Accounts and Office Administrator tasks. You will work closely as a part of a small team to ensure smooth running whilst providing support where needed. The below areas will also be included
- Reviewing/matching invoices and investigating any discrepancies
- Processing and following up supplier credits
- Assist with payroll and credit management as required
- Complete cash balancing and bank reconciliations and managing daily banking requirements
- Coordinating new account and loyalty forms and responding to customer queries
- Ensuring all paperwork and personnel files are up to date and filed
- Reconciling monthly fuel/credit card expenses
- Ordering stationery/branch supplies
- General administration support as required
**About You**:
You’re a solid all-rounder that can communicate at all levels as you will be engaging with internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis so being approachable is essential. You take great pride in your work and can multi-task like no other while working to deadlines and remaining calm under pressure. Alongside this, you also possess the following
Strong Administration background
- Knowledge of accounting and processes is desirable, but not necessary
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Professional communication skills
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office (particularly Word & Excel)
- Loads of initiative and ability to take action to solve problems
- Ability to work autonomously as well as being part of a cohesive and successful team
