Join Te Whatu Ora at a key time of change where you will meaningfully contribute to our kaupapa of creating a more equitable, accessible, cohesive and people-centred health system. This is mahi that will improve the health and well-being of everyone in Aotearoa, and we've got an opportunity for you to be part of it
**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**
The implementation of a financially sustainable system and increased use of digital services requires a culture of collaboration, connectedness and continuous improvement to be developed and maintained across the digital techscape for Te Whatu Ora Hospital and Specialist services that crosses Te Aka Whai Ora, primary and secondary care.
As the Director Integration and Delivery, you'll be the driving force in shaping the digital transformation program across clinical and corporate domains, building world class delivery capability and leading the implementation of new digital systems to help modernize the New Zealand health system at speed and scale.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with the skills and experience required for the role and a commitment to ongoing improvements combined with a genuine interest in leadership and transformation. If you're up for the challenge, join us and make a significant contribution to the health of Aoteaora New Zealand.
**Mōu | About you**
You have significant experience leading a high performing team, at an executive level, across large and complex organisations. Youl thrive on internal and external relationship management and are committed to maintaining the highest standards of personal, professional, and institutional behaviour through unquestionable loyalty and integrity.
Your strong business acumen and familiarity with current technological trends and business concepts is enhanced by your proven intellectual capability, including strategic thinking, continuous improvements, and a genuine interest in leadership.
If you've got experience at an executive level of Data & Digital delivery within large public-facing multi-faceted or complex environments, we want to hear from you
**Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience**

- Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to connect and engage with a variety of stakeholders and business units
- Proven experience working in a politically sensitive environment and operating in a confidential/secure space

- Able to maximise the quality and contributions of individuals and teams to achieve Te Whatu Ora's vision, purpose and goals
- Can establish and maintain positive working relationships with people at all levels within the public and private sectors, related industry groups and the wider national and international communities
**Ka kawea e koe | You will bring**:

**Ko te mahi e tika ana mō te ao hurihuri nei |Work that suits today's ever -changing world**
Te Whatu Ora supports flexible and hybrid working for our kaimahi. However, the nature of this role requires significant investment of time in building and leading delivery teams, working closely with the wider Transformation program. Transformation teams will be concentrated in but not exclusively comprise staff based in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. Accordingly, the role will be based in one of these locations.
**Nau mai, uru mai | Come and join us**
When you join Te Whatu Ora, you become part of transforming the health system. This is a once in a life-time change, that will touch the lives of everyone in Aotearoa, and future generations.
The name, Te Whatu Ora, means ‘the weaving of wellness'. Whatu is the combining together of people, resources, organisations, thoughts and actions for the betterment and wellbeing of all. Whatu is also a direct reference to the pupil of the eye, and the vision required of the new entity and system.
We are working towards a system that better meets the complex demands of a growing population, addresses the persistent inequalities experienced by Māori and ensures greater access, experience and outcomes for those traditionally not well served by the system - Māori, Pacific and Disabled People.
**Tō mātou whakahaere ki te tika, te rerekētanga, me te whai wāhi mai | Our commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion**
