Furthermore, the Integration and Delivery function carries responsibility for various elements of PMO functions, spanning from the PMO Centre of Excellence to the actual delivery function within each region.

Our Infrastructure and Investment Group is at the forefront of the Regional Hospital Redevelopment Programme, leading the charge in transforming six key health facilities.

As the Project Director, you'll be the guiding force, leading projects from concept to design, building, testing, and transition. Your focus will be on delivering the complete technology scope for the Whangarei Hospital redevelopment, ensuring it's on schedule and ready to utilise cutting-edge data and digital solutions for optimal efficiency.

**Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience**
- Proven experience delivering complex transformation programmes on schedule, cost and with the required quality.
- Relevant professional programme and project management experience and confidence in understanding a variety of project processes and methodologies, such as Managing Successful Programmes, PRINCE2, PMBOK or similar or demonstrated experience in Programme and Project delivery.
- Significant Programme Director leadership experience in successfully delivering Digital programmes with budgets in excess of $30m - preferably in a health context.
- Experience managing the commercial performance of programmes, ensuring timely and meaningful responses to challenges, issues and opportunities, and enabling sustainable levels of high performance
- Proven experience establishing processes for identifying, managing and monitoring complex risks to programme outcomes.
- A respected leader with demonstrated experience working at a senior management level across large and complex programmes of work
- Significant experience in strategic communications and an ability to take complex information and synthesise into key messages for relevant audiences
- Political nuance, with an understanding how issues play out and what is important to key stakeholders and the Government of the day
