Team Global Express NZ delivers freight forwarding, end-to-end transport services, and comprehensive logistics solutions to customers operating across New Zealand from Kaitaia to Invercargill.

Due to our current employee going on maternity leave, we have an exciting opportunity for a Linehaul Planner to join our head office in Auckland on a fixed term contract till September 2024

**He angitūtanga: The opportunity**

You will be responsible for maintaining effective control of the branch Linehaul, FTL dispatch and administration functions, always ensuring cost effective and service driven coverage. You will also play an active part in ensuring all unrecoverable cost (empty running etc.) is isolated and processes are put in place to minimise and/or eliminate these costs.

Additional duties include:

- Timely updating of truck dispatch sheet / job allocation
- Driver communication to ensure cut offs are met and processes/compliance followed.
- Manage accurate and timely rating of consignments.
- Integrate appropriate processes with the national branch network.
- Identify and assist with new business developments specifically on routes where empty running occurs.
- Manage internal/external revenue capture and timely rating.
- Managing information flows between customer services and dispatch to achieve on time delivery.

We are looking for the right person to play an integral part in the linehaul Profit and Loss report and be responsible for capturing all revenue and costs associated with the day-to-day activity in the upper North Island

Additional experiences and qualifications below:

- Management/Supervisory qualification.
- Transport industry knowledge and experience
- Computer literacy and intermediate knowledge of all Microsoft packages.
- Previous FTL/Linehaul Dispatch experience
- NCEA Level 2 or a Recognised professional in Transport and logistics area - Diploma in Logistics & Transport.
