**_The Opportunity;_**

We’re currently recruiting for a confident, people-orientated leader to join Team Ritchies as our North Island Tours & InterCity Manager. This role repots to the Director
- Tours & Coach and is based at our Swanson Depot. The purpose of this position is to provide operational and people leadership ensuring that the tours and charters are run safely and efficiently at all times and that our people are engaged and high performing.

This role has a strong operational focus, with the overall responsibility for work scheduling and managing drivers on our North Island Tours/Charters, InterCity, Explorer and SkyDrive services. You will also be responsible for business development, invoicing, payroll, succession planning and managing quotes/tenders as necessary.

**_ Team Ritchies;_**

Ritchies is one of Aotearoa New Zealand’s leading passenger transport companies with a team of more than 2,000 people providing coach and charter services right across the country.
We partner with regional councils and schools to supply public transport services as well as offering a range of bus and coach hire services to businesses and the general public. You would be joining us at an exciting time in Ritchies’ history as we gear up to decarbonise our fleet and move to a more sustainable public transport model.

- Operational Management experience (ideally tertiary qualification related to business management)

- Ideally background in Public Transport/Tourism
