Performance Analyst

We are seeking a Domain Specialist (L2) to join our Performance team in CCS Planning Design and Delivery - Planning and Performance.
Permanent role, all IR locations considered.
Mō te tūnga - About the role
Utilise your best practice expertise and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You will have experience working with leaders across the organisation, working effectively across the analytical community and display strong advisory and influencing skills to drive the right performance outcomes for customers.

**In this role you will**:

- provide value-add performance reports, insights and advice on emerging trends for the management of performance, risks and prioritisation
- actively understand, represent and influence the performance narrative of the Customer Compliance Services business group
- contribute to the development of the Customer Compliance Services performance framework
- through collaboration and analysis, identify new and innovative ways to understand and measure performance for the successful achievement of business plans and customer segment strategy outcomes
- develop performance measures and generate insights for operations and strategic business plans, along with facilitating quality performance conversations
- develop initiative benefit measurement and undertake evaluations as determined
- leverage the value inherent in system data and reports to inform quality decision making and improved customer outcomes
- lead initiatives within the performance team or as part of a networked team to deliver improved customer outcomes
- build and maintain a deep knowledge of business performance and priorities to support and advise on improvements
- development and maintenance of IR START system reports which are aligned to reporting standards and frameworks.

**To be successful in this position you will bring**:

- excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with an ability to proactively engage and develop relationships across diverse groups and roles
- strong problem solving, analytical, advisory and influencing skills, with curiosity and understanding the why at the core of what you do
- experience with performance reporting, understanding business priorities, generating performance insights and telling the story behind the numbers
- experience in obtaining and analysing complex data and identifying trends, using data from a variety of systems, and providing performance feedback
- experience developing and improving reusable performance measures, metrics and reports that meet desired customer outcomes
- strong planning processes with ability to adapt quickly to meet deliverables on time
- sharing knowledge and experience to help grow performance and reporting capability
- the ability to effectively commission, lead and deliver project work
- atrong SAS and/or SQL and Snowflake experience is desirable, and Microsoft PowerBI.
