**Job Description**:
**Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity**
We are seeking to appoint an Administrator to join our team to provide secretarial and administrative support. The role reports to the Group Services Manager and will provide administrative support to the Kaiārahi, the Associate Dean Māori and Associate Dean Pacific in their roles where they are responsible for implementing Māori and Pacific initiatives to create successful outcomes for Māori and Pacific students, staff, and communities.
**Key responsibilities include**
- Provide day to day administrative support including diary management
- Provide support with coordinating meetings, preparing, and distributing agendas, documents, and presentations
- Act as Committee Secretary for specific faculty committee meetings (**Māori and Pāsifika**)
- Support with organising events

- Strong computer skills, proficient with the Microsoft Office suite
- Pays attention to detail
- Top notch interpersonal and communication skills, a people person
- Level-headed, fast thinking and works well under pressure
**We are also particularly interested in applicants who have**:
- A good understanding of Māori and Pāsifika cultural protocols
- Experience working with Māori and Pāsifika students’ staff and communities
- Experience supporting more than one stakeholder
- Te Reo and/or a Pacific language would also be an advantage
Although experience within a similar environment would be beneficial, it is more important that you bring a great attitude, with the ability to roll up your sleeves and provide vital support for the team. You will enjoy working with a multitude of stakeholders at varying levels.
This is a Fulltime (37.5 hours per week), permanent role
Remuneration: $53,901 - $62,000 per annum dependent on experience
