**About the Role**
You will be joining a company that has been in operation for over 50 years, supplying world leading construction equipment brands.
In this position you will primarily be responsible for procurement, purchasing, bill of materials, supplier relationship management and coordination of international freight deliveries. To be a high performer in this role, you will need loads of initiative, take ownership of your learning, and work with a sense of urgency to ensure a smooth and efficient customer experience.

**Duties**:
- Monitor stock levels and generate re-orders/back orders
- Maintaining records of stock levels, prepare activity reports
- Update internal systems with accuracy
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain pricing and product availability
- Placing purchase orders and organise logistics
- A point of liaison between internal stakeholders (sales) and suppliers
- Co-ordinate freight goods / shipments and tracking
- Process warranty claims
- Other ad hoc administration tasks as required
**Skills and Experience**:
- Previous experience in Purchasing/Inventory monitoring
- Knowledge of Automotive or Construction Equipment industries would be highly regarded
- Experience in inventory management systems
- Experience with international shipping and customs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
- Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Ability learn new systems and processes quickly
