**Your new company**

A leading private organization, with a sizeable IT team is seeking a Reporting Analyst, to work on a high-profile project, based in Petone. Initially a 3-month contract with our client looking for someone who is immediately available.

**Your new role**

You will be responsible for developing reports via a replicated subset of an Oracle database using Power BI. You will need to be highly motivated and organised with an ability to develop reports based on existing requirements and priorities to help ensure the staff is able to access the required reports.

This role focuses on supporting the planning, coordination, tracking and reporting of test activity to maximise test coverage with a minimum of effort and complexity. The role works closely with the Project Manager, Project Analyst and other project team members as necessary. This role is unlikely to liaise with any external stakeholders directly.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- 4+ years’ experience in a similar role with demonstrable skills in reporting.
- Practical, demonstrable experience in report development within Power BI.
- An understanding of database concepts, especially entity relationships, joins, data transformation, filtering, and sorting.
- Experience in writing SQL database queries, preferably PL/SQL.
