We are searching for a Reporting Analyst to join our Reporting Team at Capital, Coast and Hutt Valley. This role requires an enthusiastic and motivated individual to partner with our organisation to deliver effective decision-making capability across the district. We offer the opportunity to be part of a supportive team of dedicated and experienced professionals.
You will be utilising your skills within excel work and data manipulation. You will need to have excellent communication skills, natural time management and very good IT skills, ideally with advanced exposure to Excel and SQL knowledge but more important is someone who is motivated to develop and grow within our team.
**Mō tō mātou rōpū - About our team**
The role of the Reporting Team is to develop, deliver, and maintain a comprehensive suite of credible business intelligence outputs which provides insight, context, and narrative and supports evidence based decision making. The team will demonstrate analytical capability developed through close engagement with business managers, clinicians, and external benchmarking organisations.
The Reporting team is an integral part of the Business Intelligence and Analytics team which is a key support unit tasked with developing and delivering accurate and timely reporting, insights and submissions to various national collections

The skills and experience we want you to bring to this role include:
- Advanced MS Office skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, backed up by a high level of technical and analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail
- Able to work efficiently, as meeting deadlines is second nature to you
- Resilience and the ability to produce a high quality of work under pressure, but also flexible and able to adapt to a dynamic work environment
- Being comfortable working in a team environment and adept at building business relationships
- Having the ability to communicate complex ideas in clear and simple terms
