Our Performance Reporting Team is one of the functions of the Budget Management Directorate at the Treasury.

A core role of the Treasury is improving the performance management of resources in delivering better wellbeing for New Zealand. The Performance Reporting team works to improve the public performance reporting produced by government agencies (for example, agency annual reports).

**Kōrero mō te tūranga | About the Role**

We have a rare opportunity for an ambitious senior analyst and/or analyst to work with the us on the following:

- Improving the guidance and support provided to agencies on performance reporting.
- Working with agencies on their strategic planning and reporting processes.
- Identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Reporting on the Climate Emergency Response Fund (CERF).

**Ō pūmanawa | About You**
- An understanding of performance reporting in the public sector.
- Knowledge of the processes and methods for defining performance information, and collecting and presenting this information.
- An ability to take a systems thinking approach and identify how to affect change on a system.
- Effective interpersonal and relationship management skills.
- The ability to influence and work with a range of stakeholders.
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
