We’re on the look-out for someone to provide trusted advice and support

for the delivery of our people related systems and processes. This

opportunity is for a fixed-term, of up to 15 months, to cover a period

parental leave. For the right person, we can be flexible as to the location,

and are also open to this appointment being on a part-time basis.

Working closely with the PCD Manager and PCD Coordinator, this role

supports operational HR activities along with the implementation

of people-related strategic initiatives across the eight NZ offices of

Boffa Miskell. We need someone happy to be involved in all facets of

HR, including recruitment, onboarding, learning and development,

performance management, compliance, change management and people

policy development.

We’re looking for

someone with

5+ years of relevant experience in a

generalist HR-focussed role

A relevant undergrad degree in a

related field (essential)

Knowledge of, and experience

working within, New Zealand

employment law and HR best practice

Confidence working alongside

management teams to support them

in a range of employee-related matters

Exceptional interpersonal skills, a

collaborative working style and a

flexible approach

A strong customer service

orientation as a trouble-shooter and

problem solver

Excellent communication skills to

enable you to work with a wide

range of people across geographic

boundaries

Highly organised, with the ability to

plan, prioritise, and juggle multiple

tasks, resources and deliverables, to

deliver within required timeframes

Be highly trustworthy, and reliable,

with the ability to demonstrate

discretion and judgement whilst

maintaining confidentiality

A sound commercial understanding

of business operations, preferably

within a professional services

environment
