**Mō tēnei tūranga - about the role**
The Data and Analytics Capability team is looking to enhance capability of how Fire and Emergency NZ is using data. The Data and Analytics Capability Advisor will be responsible for working across the business to support the growth of data literacy within FENZ and building the capability of organisational end users to understand how data and analytics can support, and contribute to, organisational decision making. This is a new position with scope to learn and make this position your own.
Day to day you will:
- Support the growth of data literacy and assist in data literacy change management programmes of work
- Assist with the creation, implementation, and ongoing management of Analytical and Geospatial ‘Centres of Excellence’
- Proactively engage with stakeholders across the business

**To be successful in this role, we’d expect you will have**:
- Proven experience working in a data environment with experience using a data insights tool such as Power B.I.
- Excellent relationship building skills and experience working with stakeholders
- Strong ability to clearly communicate technical information to a broad audience
- Demonstrated communication skills both written and verbal
