Our Sector Digital Channels team plays a pivotal role as a catalyst for change in our nationally enabled services. Our mission is to create digital solutions that are both cost-effective and sustainable, revolutionizing accessibility through user-friendly digital self-service options and assisted channels. Through automation and seamless integration, we aim to ease the burden on our workforce.

Our team proudly takes the lead in managing, delivering, and offering unwavering support for all our national external services. These services, curated by Data and Digital, are tailored for entities beyond Te Whatu Ora, Te Aka Whai Ora, and ManatūHauora. Additionally, our team champions the development and oversight of APIs that foster interconnectedness across the various systems and services employed by external parties, such as the National Immunisation Register and Health Practitioner Index.

As a member of our dynamic team, you'll be at the forefront of overseeing the entire release management process. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our business plans and programs, all while supporting our data and digital strategy. You'll be the driving force behind our Environments Management capability, ensuring the smooth flow of our release practice.

Collaborate closely with our DevOps Manager and stakeholders and be a key player in shaping our strategic Development capability vision. Your role will involve prioritizing and managing the implementation of our roadmap within the domain, ensuring that our work aligns seamlessly with Te Whatu Ora's data and digital strategy.

**Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience**
- Minimum of 3 years' experience of leading release management teams before, being involved with hiring, managing, and growing people from a variety of backgrounds.
- Knowledge and experience of environments management.
- Exceptional planning and organisational experience.
- Experience in working with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven experience in managing suppliers and vendors.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and encourage teams in an environment of change, financial prudence and an increasing level of digital maturity across the organisation.
- Sound delivery experience across a range of delivery styles including experience with agile team facilitation, matrix model delivery and product teams.
- Experience in contributing to strategies, including planning, prioritising, delegating and organising work to deliver on short and long-term objectives across the breadth of the position. Strong financial management of operational budgets.
- Knowledge of the Health Sector and Government would be a bonus but not essential.
