Our Sector Digital Channels team plays a pivotal role as a catalyst for change in our nationally enabled services. Our mission is to create digital solutions that are both cost-effective and sustainable, revolutionizing accessibility through user-friendly digital self-service options and assisted channels. Our team proudly takes the lead in managing, delivering, and offering unwavering support for all our national external services. These services, curated by Data and Digital, are tailored for entities beyond Te Whatu Ora, Te Aka Whai Ora, and ManatūHauora.

But it's not just about quality assurance; you'll also play a vital role in boosting our organizational efficiency and effectiveness. By maintaining our reputation for delivering top-notch software, you'll help us continue to excel in our industry.
**Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years Test (QA) engineering experience, ideally in a large and complex organisation.
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages commonly used in test automation scripts, such as Python, Java, JavaScript or C#.
- Proficiency in test automation tools for GUI, API and mobile.
- Good knowledge of test patterns/methodologies like Pager Object Model (PMO) and Behavioural Driven Development (BDD) is beneficial for creating scalable and maintainable test automation frameworks.
- Good understanding of APIs and web services, including how to test them using tools for exploratory and automated API testing.
- Good experience with Azure or AWS cloud services.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools, such as GitLab, AWS CodePipeline or Jenkins.
- Experience working in an Agile methodology (e.g., Scrum).
- Knowledge of the Health Sector and Government is preferred but not essential.
