Our Digital Enterprise Services team leads the way for seamless integration of our ICT infrastructure to build a strong digital foundation for our operational success. We are the driving force behind our organisation's modern infrastructure, adapting to evolving technology while ensuring stability, scalability, and modernisation.
From overseeing national ITSM and Service Desk functions to managing workspace tools, core infrastructure, integration platforms, and more, we've got all the bases covered. We're here to build upon our rich history and legacy, ushering in the future with contemporary platforms that seamlessly transition us from the old ways to the new.
The role of Manager Digital Platforms Architects within Digital Enterprise Services will lead the national Digital Platform Architects team, functions and processes.
They will enable the delivery of designs aligned with our infrastructure architectural blueprints and the adoption of the strategic direction as well as the enterprise and domain architecture models and through execution of programmes/projects deliver our transformation to architecture blueprints & designs.

Leading a talented team of technical experts within the Digital Enterprise Services Architecture and Design team is no small feat, but it's where you'll thrive. Your role will be crucial in mapping their career paths, ensuring they're fully engaged and supported every step of the way.
But that's not all. You will also play a vital role in shaping our digital strategy, contributing to investment decisions and driving execution across our digital technologies. Breaking down barriers and championing the right choices at the right time will be key to our success. Speaking of success, leadership of our Digital Platform Architect capabilities will be in your hands. By simplifying our complex environment and fostering innovation, you'll accelerate our delivery and lower our time-to-value, all while ensuring our systems and services meet customer expectations. Working closely with change programs, you'll ensure our direction is aligned and provide teams with the tools and training they need for successful implementation and ongoing support.
Partnership is key to our success, and you'll be at the forefront. Collaborating with colleagues across the board, you'll ensure our service experience team contributes effectively to all aspects of our mission, embodying our commitment to equity and making a difference.
**Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience**
- ICT / Technology manager with proven leadership experience and proven track record of leading large, complex Information Technology environment(s) e.g. health, telecommunications, or public utility
- Minimum 12 years' experience in ICT, drawing on extensive experience in varied environments across Infrastructure technology that includes but not limited to Virtualization/Storage/Compute, Cloud Platforms, Networking, Digital Workspace and Collaboration Tools
- In-depth practical understanding of how to establish and run an architecture function and familiarity with architecture reference models and frameworks
- Experience with executive level engagement, reporting and facilitation
- Experience in creating and managing an environment of continuous improvement and managing people across multiple disciplines
