**About the Role**
An exciting opportunity has come available for an experienced Procurement and Logistics Manager to join the Support Services team based in Mt Wellington. This position will focus on managing operational costs and improving, developing, and implementing new and existing systems and processes and play a vital part in driving sustainability scope 3 emissions.
- Key Responsibilities include:_
- Developing and maintaining relationships with vendors
- Identify and negotiate with any potential new vendors
- Coordinating and influencing vendors to implement Environmental Scope 3 reporting
- Review and monitor of performance of key service providers
- Work closely with Perimeters overseeing procurement needs are met at each site
- Identify any opportunities to improve internal processes
**About you**
- Minimum 3 years in a similar role
- Certificate in logistics or procurement management
- Degree of diploma in the electrical industry preferred
- Significant contract negotiation experience
- Strong influencing skills
- Experience in modern electronic processing techniques
- Management of procurement processes
- Analytical skills - Ability to gather data from multiple sources and to analyse data and make appropriate recommendations.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent IT, communication and organisational skills.
