**About the opportunity**

Fonterra Procurement is focused on building quality and strategic relationships with suppliers that leverage Fonterra’s purchasing power to lower the Co-Operatives cost base and achieve security of supply through integration of business critical suppliers as true strategic partners.

The Source to Pay (S2P) organisational design is organised around our core processes of category management (identify the value), sourcing (get the value), vendor management (keep the value) and operational support (enabling value). The Procurement Products and Processes are key enablers to deliver these value benefits through the Procurement Processes and Products under their remit.

The Co-Operative has invested in a S2P Transformation programme to deliver better technology solutions that enable a better user experience, simplification, and an ability to use the technology to guide the business to better procurement practices. The Product and Process Manager plays a significant role in ensuring our Product and Process roadmap will effectively transition activity from the programme into a BAU improvement cycle and ensure an uptake from the business that delivers efficiency, inbuilt controls and

**About the role**

As the Product and Process Manager, you will champion our technology solutions to support our strategic objectives. This role has ownership of the Procurement Products and Processes that manage risk, audit and compliance, and Procurement Products such as Ariba, TPRM and others as required.

You will drive the iterative improvements in these essential technology procurement tools by engaging with stakeholders to assess improvements, determine prioritisation and then coordination of resources to execute, ensuring maximum uptake and effectiveness of our systems.

The role also drives maturity in the maintenance, quality and compliance of the Procurement processes across the business and supports stakeholders with appropriate methods to drive compliance. The role will manage and embed our risk framework for Procurement driving maturity in both process and our risk management engaging with business stakeholders. The role will also oversee enterprise based analytics including the provision of spend data, functional scorecards and related reporting.

**About you**

You’re a procurement professional that can influence and drive progressive improvements across the processes and products that the business use. With a breathe of stakeholders across the business including at a Director level you will build and maintain close relationships with business stakeholders to seek endorsement for change that delivers value for the business.

You will champion new approach to business transformation that puts people at the front to have successful adoption and embedding of the new processes and capabilities.

Additional skills, experience and attributes include:

- Tertiary Qualification in Procurement or equivalent
- Expert knowledge in procurement processes and techniques
- A solid track record of addressing customer needs
- Experience in Risk and Product management
- Experience in setting product vision and strategy in an outcome-centric environment.
- Excellent analytical ability, using data to support our category managers and vendor managers execute on their strategies.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple deliverables at once
- Demonstrated customer focus by evaluating decisions from the customer’s perspective; building strong customer relationships and partnering well to help fulfil their needs
- Ability to lead a cross functional team with strong strategic thinking and decision-making and fostering an open and collaborative environment.
