Position Title
Business Leader - Implantology, ANZ
**Position Overview**
This role is responsible for establishing, building and growing the ANZ implants business to ensure that sales and profit targets are achieved or exceeded.
It leads the development, implementation and execution of the ANZ sales and marketing strategy, ensuring the focus of activities is on long term sales growth and profitability.
The incumbent is responsible for driving results and leading change by instilling a culture of high performance.
As a senior member of the commercial management team, this position is responsible for liaising with colleagues and peers in strategic planning, customer acquisition, product and market development, product and service pricing, and collaborative selling.
**Primary Objectives**
- Maximise sales volume, market share and profitability of the Dentsply Sirona implants business through focused sales and marketing activity in accordance with ANZ Sales and Marketing Strategy.
- Manage and develop a high performance sales and marketing team.
- Develop, manage and execute the ANZ implants business strategy.
- Develop and manage monthly, quarterly and annual budgets in line with annual financial projections.
- Ensure consistent multi-yeat financial performance Vs Budget and PY.
- Ensure sales growth and profitability overall for the implants business.
- Foster strong client and KOL relationships.
- Lead presentations and product demonstrations.
- Lead pricing and contract negotiations with key accounts and corporate customers.
- Drive business and market development opportunities.
- Work with peers to leverage sales opportunities across the broader Dentsply Sirona portfolio.
**Specific Accountabilities**
Leadership:
- Lead the implants ANZ team in accordance with the Dentsply Mission and values, in a way which empowers others, builds a coalition, and inspires others to become leaders.
- Dentermine required sales and product training for the team to ensure effective business results.
- Lead, develop and motivate sales associates across the region.
- Complete people management process such as recruitment, onboarding, leave management, performance and development reviews in accordance with established process and procedures.
- Develop the skills and abilities of team members so thay are able to deliver optimal performance needed to meet changing business needs, and to prepare successors for Dentsply positions.
Metrics for performance:
- Implants business Revenue and Gross Margin (measured on a quarterly basis)
- Implants business Sales and Marketing Activity including Customer Rentention and Acquisition.
- New product launch revenue.
- Customer satisfaction.
- Team development, rentention and engagement, succession planning.
- Cross functional collaboration and engagement and peers.
- adherence to global and local, quality ethics and compliance policies.
Sales and Marketing Planning:
- Develop, manage and implement annual business plan to ensure achievement of agreed sales and profit targets and broader Dentsply Sirona business objectives.
- proactively identify, prioritise and develop strategies for growth and customer acquisition.
- work closely with global and regional teams to align business strategy.
Sales Plan Implementation:
- build and leverage relationships with both enternal and internal clients to capitalize on all business opportunities.
- Idnetify key decision makers and opinion leaders and work with the team to ensure development of strong business relationships.
- Understand and communicate the needs and expectations of the client to internal stake holders to ensure that we meet and exceed client expertations.
- Develop robust KPI's and sales execution objectives to achieve annual targets.
