Lending Services are a dedicated relationship management team within Risk. We manage high-risk customers to achieve the best possible outcome for them, and ANZ.

The customers we support are typically facing financial stress and we aim to provide them a high quality, respectful experience, whilst demonstrating empathy and insight.

The Relationship Manager (Agri), Risk role is critical to making this happen, and will involve the following:
Developing effective retention or exit strategies, aiming to create/preserve value for our customers and the Bank.
Supporting Lending Services Regional Managers to deliver Lending Services support and oversight to front line Business Agri teams within your region.
Ensuring all customer groups are assessed and accurately risk rated and provisioned.
Managing customer relationships to resolution in a timely and respectful manner.
Developing strong working relationships with Agri staff and external stakeholders that enhance the reputation of Lending Services.

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Demonstrated Relationship Management experience, ideally of Agri customers.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Experience in credit analysis and credit writing, and an understanding of credit frameworks.
Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to be confident, calm, and empathetic in stressful situations.
Business advisory or accounting skills, desired but not required.
