**About the Opportunity**
The Farming Operations team within COO is responsible for the sustainable management of nutrients from Fonterra’s manufacturing sites across New Zealand. This involves management of ~30 Fonterra owned farms and the management, sale, transportation and spreading of nutrient dense streams.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Training and Compliance Coordinator to join our team. The role primarily facilitates staff training, supports the team with various compliance activities in order to meet operational, environmental and consent requirements as well as reporting on any key areas.

The role includes a significant element of stakeholder management; therefore, the successful individual would have come from a previous background that involved creating and maintaining strong relationships. The role reports to the Environmental and Compliance Manager.

Key responsibilities:

- Identify and implement staff training and development needs in consultation with the Management Team, and other stakeholders.
- Build relationships with training providers, both internal and external i.e. driver trainers.
- Co-ordinate reporting and execution of compliance calendars and activities.
- Prepare and track environmental sampling for compliance monitoring.
- Work collaboratively with environmental and manufacturing teams, ensuring alignment of goals and a flexible approach to changing requirements.

**About You**
As a strong communicator, you’ll have great interpersonal skills and a resilient nature, allowing you to work closely with a range of stakeholders across the site. With your highly organised and hardworking approach, you’ll ensure all compliance activities are accurately met and completed.

Other key skills and experience include:

- Qualification or relevant experience within related fields e.g., adult learning, Environmental and/or workplace Health & Safety legislation/practices and compliance.
- Sound computer and software knowledge & capability (i.e. Excel).
- Competent record keeping and recording of data via digital platforms.
- An interest in H&S and/or Environmental legislation.
- Be resilient to change and able to adapt to the daily situations.
- Strong verbal & written communication ability.
- Work well under pressure and have an ability to work to timelines and prioritise work.
