**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**

As the Operations Co-ordinator you will be an integral part of our Medicine and OPR Management Team based at Waikato Hospital. You will be engaged in all facets of the day to day operational management of the following services;
- Emergency
- General Medicine
- Respiratory
- Neurology
- Gastroenterology
- Dermatology
- Infectious Diseases
- Geriatrics
- So no shortage of variety everyday
- Key responsibilities of the role;
- With a wide range of challenge and opportunities you will provide day-to-day operational support in the form of project coordination, performance and compliance reporting, coordinating medical recruitment, managing expense reports and a range of other tasks.
- Work closely and collaboratively with our dedicated clinicians to form strong professional relationships and foster an environment of teamwork.

Skills and experience you’ll need to be considered for the role:

- Tertiary level qualifications, or working towards a qualification, or equivalent business experience
- Developed communication and interpersonal skills, including the capacity to negotiate and positively influence and motivate others
- Ability to assess and make effective decisions under pressure in complex situations and use own judgement to problem solve
- Self-starter with strong problem solving skills and takes pride in delivering - bring your 'can do' with you
- A high level of competency in Microsoft Office, Teams and keen to explore other technical tools at your disposal
