Our client is on the hunt for a dynamic service manager. We need someone with a knack for managing staff, ensuring standards are exceeded, a flair for process and customer service.

Based in the Wiri / Manakau region you will be a close confidant and right hand to the Dealer Principal. Here your contribution will be valued and this company continue to grow in a market where others are diminishing.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Manage and execute the service division strategy,
- Manage service strategy projects to ensure they are delivered on time,
- Manage technical support for the dealer network,
- Participate in strategic planning for various service business functions,
- Recruit, train and develop a team to oversee the entire service operation.
- Oversee individual engagement and development within the team, fostering ongoing personal growth and optimal team performance.
- Keep up to date with products & be the “go to person” for product knowledge
- Assist with key client management including training of vehicles when required
- Negotiate pricing
**Requirements**:
- Experience in a role with leadership, management or supervisory responsibilities preferably in the heavy duty commercial vehicle sector,
- Tertiary qualifications in a business discipline or equivalent (advantageous but not essential),
- Mechanical Trade Qualification - Light Vehicle or Heavy Duty (desirable but not essential)
- Self-motivated with an ability to manage time and workload autonomously and initiate actions,
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
**Minimum Experience and Qualifications**:
- Minimum five (5) years in the transport, automotive or similar industry ideally within heavy vehicles.
- Technically qualified in a relevant discipline
- Experience in and knowledge of truck distribution and/or truck dealership
- Management / Leadership experience
