Our team of HR professionals provide services that are helping to drive Westpac towards its vision and overall business strategy.
We are seeking a Senior Human Resources Manager to join our Human Resources & Communications (HRC) team on a fixed-term basis for 12months. If you are a career contractor, we would love to hear from you or you may be in a permanent role looking for a long-term contract role with the possibility of opportunities beyond the 12months.
Based at Westpac Head Office, Britomart, reporting to our Head of HR - Customer & HSW, this senior HR role will see you work alongside other Senior HR Managers supporting the Institutional and Business Banking (IBB) business units within the Bank. IBB’s aim is to be the business bank of choice for NZ. They look after customers of all sizes, from major global companies through to small local enterprises, as well as those working in the Agri sector.
IBB has a strong relationship with HR, one built on values and trust, therefore you will have the experience and expertise to nurture and further enhance this while in this role. You will be providing professional and credible support regarding employee relations, talent management, remuneration and benefits, learning and development, performance and reward, HR policies and procedures, advocacy of the organisations vision, values and culture, change initiatives through to generalist HR support.
Ideally your experience will have led you to a Senior or Head of level within HR and within a large and complex organisation. Financial Services experience is an advantage but not essential. You will display strong Employee Relations experience, stakeholder management and strong influencing skills

- Ability to lead key strategic projects through to success
- Use metrics and workforce management to drive impact
