We are looking for a talented and motivated individual to help build, support and maintain critical infrastructure for Spark. You will be involved with a huge variety of portfolio, critical assets and projects to grow your knowledge and expertise. Be part of a talented team of engineers and asset managers that demonstrate superb technical competency, delivering mission critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance and security.

As a team we will use our skills to maintain existing and develop new processes for asset management, risk management and preventative maintenance. Ensure that asset risks are being actively managed and those issues are addressed and resolved in a timely and systematic manner.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Support Critical Environments infrastructure across Datacentres, Network Exchanges, International and Satellite sites.
- You'll be responsible for the maintenance, restoration and lifecycle management of these assets including the associated operational budgets.
- Service Delivery functions including Risk, Change, Incident & Event Management.
- Subject Matter Expert of complex Electrical, Mechanical or Compliance Assets including Life Safety, BMS and Control systems across the entire portfolio.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and manage operational relationships with the Service Companies, Consultancies and Suppliers. Coach and mentor these key stakeholders on Spark maintenance practices, processes, asset technology, business strategies and goals so they understand our business objectives and can best deliver to our requirements.
- This role has a significant health and Safety component to it. Which means you'll be working closely with our Health, Safety & Wellbeing Business Partners, identifying new risks and hazards, reporting incidents in accordance with polices, and Develop processes for management of risks and hazards with our service partners.
- Carry out other duties and special projects as required from time to time.

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**
- Strong technical knowledge with experience in engineering with a tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in the field of engineering.
- Experience managing and negotiating with internal business teams and 3rd party service partners to achieve service outcomes.
- Confidence in managing complex Critical Environments assets across a large portfolio.
- Delivery of projects to time, scope, quality and budget.
- Strong people management skills.
- Ability to communicate at senior management level.
- Commercial skills and experience in dealing effectively with suppliers and partners.
- A strong Health & Safety Leadership culture, able to understand Asset Owner obligations under the new Health & Safety Legislation
- Previous performance and experience.
- Strong commercial acumen.
- Growth mindset and an ability to collaborate within the team and across the wider business.
- Can do attitude and willing to learn.
