**About the Auckland System Management (ASM) Alliance**:
ASM is an alliance between HEB Construction, Fulton Hogan and Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency to operate and maintain Auckland's motorway network. The Alliance is expected to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders as well as suppliers to deliver exceptional outcomes for customers using the Auckland transport system.

**The Opportunity**:
This is a fantastic opportunity to provide engineering support to a range of assets within the ASM alliance. Our Asset Performance Technician will assist our asset managers and engineers with all works to ensure asset renewals, operation and maintenance activities are completed in a timely manner and to a high standard.

You will be exposed to leading asset management and receive an insight into a wide variety of technical fields. You will work closely with experience staff and will be encouraged to assist in developing project solutions in line with the ASM alliance strategic goals. ASM assets include traffic and corridor assets, structures (including the Auckland Harbour Bridge), stormwater, transportation technology, tunnels and pavements.

This is the perfect opportunity for either a highly motivated graduate engineer, who is early in their career and is keen to learn and develop new skills, or a more experienced practitioner looking to further their career in asset management.

**Responsibilities**:
As our Asset Performance Technician, you will have a number of varied responsibilities including:

- Asset inspection, audit and investigations
- Developing written reports documenting asset condition and performance
- Developing processes, plans, procedures relating to Asset Management
- Improving asset data quality and reporting
- Developing design works information packages and information
- Working with, and managing, Professional services and their deliverables
- Working with the delivery teams to improve outcomes
- Understand the ASM asset management systems, manuals, and processes.
- Taking responsibility for your own health and safety and the health and safety of our people
- Verification of the quality as built data and drawings

**About You**:

- English written and spoken language.
- NCEA level passing grade or equivalent in English and Maths
- Full Driving licence
- NZQF Level 4 certificate or above in transportation, engineering, or a construction field or
- Equivalent documented experience in transportation, engineering, or a construction field
- Computer literate and familiar with MS Word and Excel
- A recognised engineering qualification is desirable.
- 1+ years' working experience in consultancy, engineering or construction desirable.
- Understanding of RAMM data desirable.
