**LV2 Service Desk Analyst**
Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Service Desk Analyst to join our client's dynamic IT support team in Auckland for an initial 3-month period. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT professional to help deliver high-quality support services to end-users. You will be responsible for handling Level 1 and Level 2 support tasks, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring timely resolution of tickets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line support for IT-related issues, including software, hardware, and network problems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents in a timely manner, ensuring mínimal disruption to end users.
- Log and manage support tickets in the IT service management system.
- Assist users with password resets, system configurations, and basic IT queries.
- Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate higher-level support teams when necessary.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Service Desk, IT Support, or Helpdesk role.
- Strong understanding of Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Experience with IT ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Freshdesk, etc.).
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues and provide effective solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Knowledge of networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
- ITIL Foundation certification or similar IT support qualifications.
