About our group | Mō te roopu

The purpose of the People and Capability (P&C) Group is to deliver core people services to the EPA while we develop our people, capabilities and culture to enable our people and the organisation to thrive.

**This includes**:

- Leadership, learning and development initiatives

About the role | Mō te tūnga

We are looking for two quality-focused coordinators to join our highly supportive People and Capability team.

These roles are varied and provide the opportunity to support all functions of the People and Capability team. They focus on:

- Processing and updating employee information within the P&C systems including HRIS, payroll, learning and health and safety systems;
- Responding to P&C queries from across the organisation
- Providing support for P&C activities including recruitment, reporting, employee induction, learning and health, safety and wellbeing and;
- Supporting people-related initiatives across the organisation, with other P&C team members.

About you | Mōhou ake

As a P&C Coordinator you will be the go-to person for many people at the EPA for general P&C enquiries and questions. A can-do attitude and great attention to detail will make you a great fit for this role. We are looking for someone with a range of skills and experience - if you have some or all of the below, we would love to hear from you.

**Essential to your success will be**:

- The ability to get stuck in and work collaboratively with a great team
- Entry or Graduate level experience in one or more of : human resources, payroll, health and safety, recruitment, learning and development, general administration/coordination
- Experience working under pressure, setting priorities, and achieving results in tight deadlines

**It is desirable but not essential that you also have**:

- Understanding of machinery of Government processes and systems
- Systems experience (HRIS, payroll)
- HR or Health and Safety related tertiary qualification or working towards one
- Experience or understanding of health, safety and wellbeing in the workplace

Salary range |

$59,932- $89,898 per annum (midpoint $74,915).
This is the full salary range. Appointments are made within the range depending on skills and experience.
