**Child Health - Part Time.5 FTE**

We are looking for a new part time ASD Co-ordinator to join our wider Community Child Health team. Our Co-ordinators support the needs of children, young people, and their families/whanau along the Autistic Spectrum pathway, supporting Paediatric assessments then supports by connecting to the wider health, education and NGO organizations.

This is a part time (20 hour’s week) permanent Co-ordinator position.

With a relevant background, you will have 3+ years experience in the health / disability or Education sector either in a clinical or management role. You will be responsible for

co-ordinating the assessment and diagnostic pathway for children with suspected autism and supporting families through the pathway. You will ensure that the families of children diagnosed with autism receive information and are appropriately linked to services.

This is a chance to really grow, where your organisational skills will be recognised and utilised through coordination of inter-sectoral meetings, overseeing the assessment and co-ordination process and supporting families during this period.
