**The Opportunity**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Partner to join Gallagher's Legal Team. As a key member of our legal team based at our Hamilton head office, you’ll provide exceptional legal support and insights to support decision-making and implement our global and regional business strategies for Gallagher’s Animal Management division.

- Offer pragmatic legal solutions to the Animal Management business, ensuring compliance and supporting strategic objectives
- Support legal compliance in New Zealand and internationally, including supporting training on key topics and maintaining visibility of processes, templates, and legislation
- Draft and assist in negotiating crucial contracts to facilitate smooth business operations
- Collaborate closely with the General Counsel and the Animal Management Leadership team along with the broader Legal team, and stakeholders across the Gallagher business.

- LLB degree (minimum) and a current practicing certificate
- Minimum 5 years PQE, with legal experience in commercial and contract law
- Proven track record in a high-performing team environment
- Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and decision-making skills
- Customer-focused approach with a dedication to exceeding internal and external customer expectations
- Self-motivated with exceptional planning, organisational, and prioritisation abilities
- Collaborative mindset, capable of effectively engaging with cross-functional teams to deliver desired outcomes
- Proactive in identifying and solving problems using innovative approaches
- Additional experience in a commercial organisation is preferred but not essential.
