**About the Role**

The Strategic Procurement group sits within Support Services, and you'll report to the Procurement Senior Sourcing Specialist. This group supports all business units, however the key focus will be the management of Technology and Operations third party vendors and contract management.

The role of Procurement Sourcing Advisor will support the Procurement Senior Sourcing Specialist by developing and leading the implementation of the service aggregation framework for LIC across our service provider/vendor landscape. Working with Technology, Operations, Risk, Legal and key stakeholders to develop an engagement framework as well as developing the key contractual artifacts that support the frameworks.

In addition to Contract Management, this role will also support the Procurement Senior Sourcing Specialist with commercial negotiations which include the facilitation of Go To Market activities such as RFP's. This role also ensures the timely execution of contracts post awarding of business, and continues to validate the vendors performance based on the terms outlines in the agreement, and reviewing/renewing contracts were applicable.

**The Key focus and responsibilities of this role are to**:
Facilitate communication between Technology, Operations and their vendors in order to define, negotiate and maintain agreements.

Facilitate forums to enable overall relationship improvement initiatives between LIC and vendors.

Work with the business to obtain vendor performance results to build valuable reports to ensure desired outcomes are achieved.

Take ownership of Technology and Operations Agreement templates and recommend/approve any required changes by working closely with our Legal department.

Develop and maintain strategic relationships with business stakeholders and external support partners to ensure efficiency and productivity is maximised.

Despite having a key focus on Technology and Operations portfolios, this role will also support all portfolios managed by procurement.

**About You**

We are seeking someone with the following skills and Experience:

- Strong communication skills: verbal, written, presentation, facilitation
- Sound understanding of Technology Contracts and the terms within
- Technical understanding with ability to translate into business concepts
- Ability to work under changing conditions; handle stressful situations in a calm manner
- Strong relationship management
- Work accurately and to strict time frames
- Given this role involves transactions of significant revenue, the highest degree of integrity should be evident to ensure consistent decision making along with creditable business transactions and relationships maintained
- Statistical, numerical and analytical principles and processes
