About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Employment Lawyer to join our dynamic team. This role offers the chance to work closely with a leading Partner of the firm, specialising in Employment and Health and Safety Law. As an Employment Lawyer in this role, you will provide practical advice and tailored solutions on a broad range of issues, including employment, health and safety, and education law. You'll bring experience advising and representing both employers and employees in workplace conflicts and dispute resolution. This is an opportunity to gain exposure to a variety of interesting and challenging areas, such as:

  • Personal grievances for unjustified dismissal
  • Disciplinary processes and performance management
  • Redundancy and restructuring
  • Representation at mediations, the Employment Relations Authority, Employment Court, and the Human Rights Commission
You will be an experienced Employment Lawyer, ideally at Senior Solicitor to Associate level, but all candidates with 2+ years' PQE are encouraged to apply. You will bring expertise in employment agreements, independent contractor agreements, workplace policies, disciplinary and performance management matters, redundancy and restructuring, workplace health and safety issues, and other employment-related matters. You will also possess strong relationship-building skills, with a focus on providing exceptional client service. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
