**Key responsibilities include**:
- Supporting corporate planning functions, including the Long Term Plan, Annual Plan, and Annual Report
- Developing and maintaining organizational performance reporting
- Contributing to public consultations and engagement activities
- Assisting in building a long-term planning culture across the council
This position reports to the Team Leader, Strategy & Performance, and is crucial in helping HBRC achieve its vision of a healthy environment and a resilient, prosperous community.

**We're looking for a dedicated professional with**:
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- A collaborative approach and the ability to build strong working relationships
- Adaptability and innovation in the face of change
- An understanding of local government processes (desirable)
- A Bachelor's degree in policy, planning, communications, political science, or a related field
- Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
