Here is a role suited to people that specialize or are looking to specialize in information analytics, right here in Napier. A key purpose of this exciting role is assisting our factory performance by providing business performance insights from data analysis and interpretation in alignment with our Quality Wins framework. Join us as a Operations Information Analyst for the Electrification Business area where you will be working alongside many of our business units
- R&D, Quality, Production and supporting our Project Management Office. Perfect for either those recently graduated or with experience in an analytical role. There are a variety of IT software packages in use which you’ll be responsible for maintaining and updating. We’ll look to you as our data analysis and management champion. This position reports to the Operationa Information Manager and based in Nappier. Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Being responsible for the Integrated Production Unit as central liaison point for data collection in line with ABB’s Quality Wins framework
- Creating interactive dashboards and reporting to visualize trends and factory performance metrics
- Supporting all business functions in data capture and analysis as required
- Acting as a champion in data driven management, data capture, analysis and interpretation
- Capturing data from factory test equipment to assist with test equipment maintenance.
- Providing project support as required with data capture and implementation of intelligent solutions. IT and data integrity maintenance and updates and support the roll out of other analytical software

**Your background**:

- Information Technology training or relevant qualification
- Experience in using SAP or other modern ERP system. Proven experience working in a similar role
- Excellent computer literacy skills across a wide range of software packages
- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills to assist with data interpretation/analysis
- Proven experience working with stakeholders to capture, analyses and present data driven business metrics
- Natural customer service flair and great communication skills.Experience in manufacturing desired but not essential
