The Court Registry Support Officer (CRSO) plays an important support role in the operation of a court. You will provide support to the Court Registry Officers and assist in the delivery of services across a range of registry functions including liaising with jurors and witnesses, preparing and managing court related documents, handling incoming and outgoing communications, and maintaining Courtrooms and registry supplies.

You'll enjoy the diversity of duties ranging from liaising with relevant parties to undertaking judicial support requirements, both in and out of the courtroom.

Calling on your previous customer service experience and talent for multi-tasking, you'll play a key support role in the day-to-day operations of the High Court. You're an excellent communicator with good English and computer skills and have the ability to interact well with a wide range of people. You're flexible, calm, resilient, and in no way daunted by the court environment.

This role requires a full licence and the ability to travel to other court locations when required. **This is a full-time, permanent role. **It is not compulsory to have any particular expertise or academic reflection for this role.

You will also need to:

- **_Be committed to the principles of te Tiriti o Waitangi_**:

- **_Bring an understanding of Te Ao Māori, Te Reo Māori me onā tikanga_**:

- **_Have an understanding and appreciation of cultural issues and concerns in particular Tikanga Maori_**:

- **_Bring a working knowledge of the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi and the implications of these for the work of Te Tāhū o te Ture - Ministry of Justice_**
