**Your Opportunity
We are looking for a Fleet Coordinator to join our Auckland Branch.
As a Fleet Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the operations of Team Global Express’ Auckland fleet of vehicles. Your primary objective will be to ensure the efficient and cost-effective utilization of the fleet while maintaining compliance with safety regulations. You will work closely with drivers, maintenance teams, and other stakeholders to optimize routes, manage vehicle maintenance, and improve overall fleet performance.
This role is a full -time permanent position of 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, based in Auckland. The salary range is between $ 62,000 and $70,000.
You need to be able to work effectively both as part of a team or individually. You will be organised, providing attention to detail and can deal with change effectively, often at short notice. Additionally, you will take pride in your role and always work towards continuous performance for yourself and your team.
As a Fleet Co
- ordinator, you will:
- Develop and implement effective route plans to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Utilize route optimization software and tools to enhance planning processes.
- Coordinate the scheduling, deployment, and tracking of company vehicles.
- Optimize fleet utilization to maximize efficiency and minimize idle time.
- Ensure timely and cost-effective maintenance of vehicles to minimize downtime.
- M aking sure that products are delivered and kept in a way that preserves their quality and arrange collection and delivery of vehicles and goods.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A minimum of six months transport / freight / logistics industry experience
- P revious experience with dispatching and fleet co-ordination
- Full NZ driver's license
