**About the role**

We have a permanent full time role available at 40 hours per week that forms part of a small team amongst the hustle and bustle on Queens Wharf in Auckland CBD.

The role of Shore Services Assistant sits under the operations department and will be key in providing services to our vessels in a timely manner.

**Duties include but are not limited to**
- Refueling our fleet of vessels
- Maintain radio communication with operations in relation to slotting and scheduling of vessel that needs to pump outs waste
- Co-ordinating our food and beverage storage for all boats checking we have enough products, re-stocking and maintaining the storage area
- Organising the freight to and from Waiheke. This involves physical work including heavy lifting
- Lost property - communicating with clients regarding any property that has been forgotten on the vessels. Your focus on customer service and communication skills will be of great help when dealing with our clients (internal and external)
- Assisting with staff uniforms and administration.

**Hours of work**
- Rotating roster & may be expected to work public holidays and weekends as needed
- 120 hours over a 3-week period, average of 40 hours per week
- Shifts start between 4.30am - 9am and finish latest 6pm

**About you**
- Customer service oriented
- Great organisational skills, good time management - demonstrates a sense of urgency
- Willingness and ability to work shifts
- Freight/warehouse experience desired but not essential.
